Information Architecture is the art of organizing information. It is to the web what Architecture is to construction.

When you walk up to a building, you want the door handle to be where you expect it to be and to work easily. You want to be able to find where you want to go.

The same is true when you land on a web page.

The websites I design don’t start with a template; they start with information architecture.

I ask questions until I understand what information my client wants to provide, then organize the information as simply as possible.
